Peterborough travelled to Herne Bay for the third time this season to face Invicta in the National Cup 1st round. This was a difficult game for Peterborough to get scheduled due to most weekends already booked up with other games, this resulted in Peterborough only taking five outfield players and two goalkeepers. The young team put up a good fight Verses a more experienced side. Peterborough had lots of chances but were over powered now and again at the back being 2-0 down within minutes of the start did not help them and buy halftime they were 4-2 down. The team tried there best in the second half to get back in the game and within minutes of the restart they were only one goal behind thanks to Luca Oakley. Peterborough threatened the Invicta goal on occasions but couldn't get level Invicta scored another before Luca got his Second of the game and half. But that was a close as the young side would get on the score sheet with Invicata scoring another two before the end to advance to the next round 7-4 were they will play Soham RHC.
