Premier season starts

It's a busy weekend of fixtures for Peterborough with the Premier division team starting their season against last years runners up Soham RHC. 
 
Soham have a younger team this year with the likes of former Peterborough youth players Jack Shepperson & Aaron Hall stepping up to the 1st team but Soham has lost key players like Alex Jones & Eddie Mount who's gone to play abroad.

Soham Started there season last week against a strong Manchester side that boasts a few Portuguese and Spanish players and looks like they are poised to have a stronger season than there last place finish last year. Soham, however, came away with the points beating Manchester 5-4 in a very close game which shows this will be a strong test for Peterborough playing in their first season at this level for a number of years.

Before our Premier league match the Under 13's get the day going with there home tournament at Bushfields Leisure centre starting at 9:30 am and due to finish at 3:30 pm. The under 13's have four games Saturday against ECU, Cottenham, Letchworth & Kings Lynn, as far as I know, they have a full team to pick from with no injuries or players missing.

Our Under 17's also get there season going this weekend with their first tournament being played at The Ross Peers Sports Centre, Soham starting at 9:00 am finishing at 5:00 pm They have three games to play on Sunday 1st game will be a friendly against the Guest team of the day then they will play Letchworth followed by ECU Gold. 

The Under 17's are missing a few players for this weekends tournament Alfie & Harry are unavailable Declan is still recovering from a broken wrist and with Josh F joining ECU last month Peterborough is down to four outfield players after signing Taylor Adams on loan for the campaign from Soham.       ​
